What "hands over" actually means

Most plugins that claim an integration add their own panel next to yours and leave you with two of everything. MediaVerse does the opposite. When BuddyNext is active it stands down its own assets, panels and notification bell, and BuddyNext owns the experience. Your members see one interface, because there is only one.

The same principle runs through the rest. Media attaches to another plugin's objects through a provider-neutral linkage rather than a BuddyPress-only one, so a photo on a forum post and a photo on a profile are the same kind of thing to the database.

It works on its own, too.
